About CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd

CSC e-Governance Service India Limited is a Special Purpose Vehicle (CSC SPV) incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, to monitor the implementation of Common Services Centers Scheme (CSCs). It provides a centralized collaborative framework for delivery to services to citizens through CSCs, besides ensuring systematic viability and sustainability of system.

Common Services Centers (CSCs) are a strategic cornerstone of the Digital India program . They are the access points for delivery of various digital services to villages in India, thereby contributing to a digitally and financially inclusive society.

CSCs are more than service delivery points in rural India. They are positioned as change agents, promoting rural entrepreneurship and building rural capacities and livelihoods. They are enablers of community participation and collective action for engendering social change through a bottom-up approach with key focus on the rural citizen.

There are around 5.5 lakh CSCs functioning as delivery points of government and public services for the rural population in rural and semi-urban areas at their doorstep. Today, these are primarily located at each gram Panchayat level across the country. As of March 2023, there are more than 350 Government and other private sector services being delivered through the CSCs, including more than 50 education and skill-oriented courses/services.

About CSC Academy

CSC Academy, a leading initiative under the Common Service Centers (CSC) scheme, is dedicated to promoting digital inclusion and skill development across India. CSC Academy aims to empower citizens through technology-driven education and training, creating a foundation for sustainable development and inclusive growth. CSC Academy was setup in 2017 as a not-for-profit organization under the Societies Registration Act 1860 (Act 21 of 1860), as applicable to the Union of Delhi.

Our vision is to build a digitally inclusive society where every individual has access to quality education and the skills needed to thrive in the digital economy. We aim to be a catalyst for change, fostering innovation and opportunities for all. At CSC Academy, we are committed to making a lasting impact on society by empowering individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the digital age.

Currently, more than 6,500 CSC Academy Centers are functional across India with at least one center in each block. These centers are equipped with 10-15 computers, projector and other digital equipment. The CSC Academy is granted Income Tax exemption under 12A, 80G and FCRA license.

About CSC Tiny Tech

We believe that every child deserves the best start in life. CSC Tiny Tech is an innovative preschool curriculum designed to integrate technology into early childhood education, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for young children. Developed by CSC Academy in association with IIT Delhi, this curriculum leverages cutting-edge technology to create a dynamic and interactive educational environment that caters to the holistic development of children.

Currently, CSC Tiny Tech offers its comprehensive technology-enabled preschool solution to 3700+ Early Childhood Education centres including anganwadi centres across 31 states in India. It addresses playful and joyful learning for the children in the age group of 3 to 6 years, especially for the children from rural and socially disadvantaged background.
